GenPaper Privacy Policy

GenPaper is a mind-mapping app provided by Chart Tech, LLC. This policy explains what information GenPaper handles and how it is used.

Information We Handle

Anonymous account identifiers associated with passkey-based accounts.
Encrypted email addresses when a user provides one for account recovery notifications.
End-to-end encrypted app data, including mind maps and related content stored through the app.
Basic support information you choose to send when contacting Chart Tech, LLC.

Anonymous Passkey Accounts

GenPaper uses anonymous passkey accounts. The app does not require a name, username, or password to create an account. Passkeys are handled through your device, operating system, browser, or passkey provider.

Recovery Email Addresses

If you provide an email address for account recovery notifications, GenPaper stores the email address in encrypted form. The email address is used to send recovery-related notices and to help support account access.

End-to-End Encrypted App Data

App data is stored with end-to-end encryption. Chart Tech does not design GenPaper so that it can read the contents of your encrypted mind maps or related app data.

How Information Is Used

To provide account access and app functionality.
To send account recovery notifications when applicable.
To respond to support requests.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, and operate the service.

Sharing

Chart Tech does not sell GenPaper user data. Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the app, deliver notifications, host data, or provide support. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Chart Tech, LLC, or others.

Data Retention and Deletion

GenPaper retains account and app data as needed to provide the app unless it is deleted by the user or deletion is requested and completed through support. Some records may be retained when required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Children

GenPaper is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through GenPaper, contact Chart Tech, LLC.

Changes

Chart Tech may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
